Buchanan Wedding - Featured June 17, 2013

I was married on September 29, 2012 to my high school sweetheart! We had an amazing day, even though it rained the entire time! Our colors were charcoal, ivory, gold, blush, deep violet, and an ombré of salmon. It was beautiful! I love that my first true love became my last!

Dan and Keri Marie Daniels - Featured June 10, 2013

Dan & Keri Marie Daniels  03.01.13 Our wedding was held in the modern and elegant loft of Red Primesteak. It was a delightful little affair with our most intimate family and friends. We really wanted the guests to be the focus of our wedding. The evening began with a welcome reception hosted by the bride and groom, followed by a brief non-traditional ceremony. Guests were then served a three course dinner with wine pairings while toasts were offered to the happy couple. The cake and flowers were designed with the comforts of home in mind, simplicity and charm. Ambient warmth through creative up-lighting and hanging bulbs provided a romantic backdrop for dancing and celebrating. Our wedding coordinator Kindt Steven Myers helped us bring our vision to life in just four short months. Dan and I played a large role in every detail of our special day and our love and cooperation grew stronger from the incredible experience.  My dream come true!

Caitlin and Bret Sowders

Well, on May 4th, 2013 after over 4 years of dating, I married my best friend. Like most men, he wanted very little to do with the wedding planning. After looking and looking, I found the venue. Joy's Palace was perfect for my shabby chic wedding! It's a really unique building in downtown Norman that used to be an antique mall and before that a mechanic's garage. The feel of the building went well with my motorcycle racing fiance's personality, so we went with it. There were little sprockets mixed with gems littering the tables. We had a small wedding with about 100 guests and it was perfect. Everyone seemed to love the hutch that we decorated in the entry to our reception, it was a good way to show off our relationship and gave guests a peak into our lives. I made my bouquet from silk flowers and brooches, some of the brooches were my mother's, grandmother's, and great grandmothers; it was a sentimental thing that ended up being gorgeous! The lace and tulle mixed with the sprockets, burlap, and raw brick fit us perfectly! I wouldn't change a thing!

Hudson Wedding

I'm a 30-something and this was my second marriage.  Planned a strict budget of $2000 and managed to keep it with the help of family and Pinterest. I made this sign out of old fence panel pieces. My Mom was in charge of the table decorating and found the white linen material for $1/yard to use for table covers. "Hugs and Kisses" saying on this box had double-meaning...we stuffed each box with Hershey Hugs and Kisses chocolates.  My Mom made the center pieces and I cut pieces of old fence panels down and sanded them.  Used spray chalkboard paint and had my cousin write quirky messages on each with colored chalk.  Served a light lunch and went with kind of a picnic theme with finger sandwiches, fruit/veggie trays, and lemonade/tea to drink.  And the kids went crazy over the sugar- filled kiddie table.  My cousin used fresh roses and tulle to spruce up the cake.  Used antique tin pie pans to serve mints and little metal buckets with metal scoops to serve the nuts.  We loved our day and spent the week following the wedding on a road trip through the southeast.
